Coach Requirements

You may complete the free registration to be a Coach at the bottom of the page, but first a few requirements must be noted prior to proceeding.

Any coach that participates with the MYFL is mandated to complete certain steps before they are allowed to engage with the players within the league. Tackle teams are allowed 1 Head Coach and no more than 5 Assistant Coaches.  Cheer teams are allowed 1 Head and no more than 4 Junior Coaches.  Flag teams are allowed 1 Head Coach and no more than 4 Assistant Coaches. Below are links to each step that must be performed.

1.  Register Online (All Coaches Required)

You have to register online as a coach to be in our system.

2.  Background Check (All Coaches and Board Members Required)

The league is able to track completion online.

3.  USA Football Certification (Football Coaches Required)

The league is able to track completion online. Pint out your certification and return to the V.P. of Football.  (Make sure you obtain league code from Eric Matthews, Danielle Ladia or Josh Miller.)

4.  Concussion Management Training (All Coaches Required)

This is a free online couse.  Print out your certification and return to the Vice Presidents of Football and Cheer.
